We have some very exciting news! Sheley is walking. Sheley suffers from muscular dystrophy and was not able to walk. Over the years she has received physical therapy from other non-profit organizations that specializes in helping people with physical challenges. Sheley has gone from crawling, to utilizing a walker, to now being able to walk part of the time.
Sheley's ability to walk has definitely been the result of a combined effort of many people. People from organizations, such as, My Life Speaks and Hope Rising, as well as the support and help of the other children and staff of our children's home.
